Our presentation at European Network for Housing Research (ENHR) Conference marked a significant milestone in the dissemination of impactful research funded by the ESRC. Our presentation, titled "Exploring the Perspectives of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Adopting Digital Technologies and Offsite Manufacturing for Housing Construction," illuminated crucial insights garnered from a comprehensive study. Through semi-structured interviews, engaging online and in-person workshops, and real-time interactive surveys via Mentimeter, we delved into the world of SMEs, capturing their valuable perspectives on the integration of digital technologies and offsite manufacturing. The research unveiled the challenges they face, their specific needs, and most importantly, unveiled a robust set of recommendations and strategies aimed at fostering the widespread adoption of digital technologies within the SME community. This international platform not only facilitated the sharing of knowledge but also underscored our commitment to driving innovation and transformative change in the realm of housing construction. Our participation in the ENHR Conference stands as a testament to the far-reaching impact of collaborative research and its potential to reshape industry landscapes on a global scale.
