Undergraduate courses
Introduction
Environment, Law and Economics

The undergraduate degree in Land Economy, otherwise known as the Tripos, offers students the opportunity to study some of the key issues of our time – and has excellent career opportunities as well. The course has the advantage of accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and graduates are often granted partial exemption from the academic requirements of the Law Society and Bar Council.
Information about the Land Economy Tripos and the applications process is available from the following resources:
- the Land Economy Undergraduate Prospectus
- the Land Economy Undergraduate FAQ
- the general University Undergraduate Prospectus.
The Department also holds an annual Undergraduate Open Day at the beginning of July. The Open Day provides an excellent opportunity to speak to Land Economy Staff face-to-face and all interested parties are welcome to attend.
Potential students may also be interested to read about transferable skills - those that all graduates of Cambridge undergraduate degrees can reasonably expect to develop during their time here.
