First annual Cambridge Real Estate Competition hosted by CUREFIS

The Cambridge Real Estate Investment and Finance Society (CUREFIS) in association with the Department of Land Economy is pleased to host the first annual Cambridge Real Estate Case Competition.

The event aims to provide students with an opportunity to apply knowledge acquired from academic studies to real life investment scenarios.

The competition is open to University of Cambridge students from all disciplines at all degree levels.

The judges for the Case study competition are as follows:

Grosvenor Professor Colin Lizieri - Head of the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge

Mr Nick Mansley - Cambridge Real Estate Research Centre

Nicholas Bewes

Nicholas is the CEO of Howard Group. Prior to joining the Howard Group in 1999, Nicholas worked with The BOC Group for ten years, where he held various management positions. His responsibilities included a variety of functions including Change Management, Marketing and Communications, Product Development and Global Supply Management. Nicholas is a Trustee of various Charities, is Regional Chair of the Institute for Family Business and sits on the Board of Cambridge Area

Richard Jones

Richard is a non-executive director of the Transport for London Commercial Property Advisory Group and a non-executive director of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. He was managing director of UK Real Estate at Aviva Investor and a member of the Aviva Investors Global Real Estate Board.
