Bio

Rod Thomas came to academia from the New Zealand bar, practicing in the area of property related disputes. His chief interests are land title fraud, automated land registration, sale of land disputes, tracing and following issues, and strata title ownership.  

He is an academic member of Australian College of Community Association Lawyers. In New Zealand, Rod has advised the New Zealand Law Commission and central government on issues of Torrens title reform, the law of co-ownership, and strata title (unit title) legislation.  

Rod has published extensively over the last 30 years on property related issues and is active in presenting papers and seminars on property related issues and problems.
