About C-LEED
The Centre for Law & Economics for Environment and Development (C-LEED) is an institute focused on the analysis of institutional reforms in developing countries. The group has undertaken work on issues related to land use reforms (China), water policy evaluation (Namibia), conservation policy effectiveness (Kenya), agricultural diversity (Hungary) and many other resource-related problems. It combines the disciplines of law and economics in undertaking programme evaluations and policy analysis. The centre consists of a collaboration between the following UK academic institutions:
- Department of Economics and School of Law - University College London.
- Department of Economics - School of Oriental and African Studies.
- Department of Land Economy - University of Cambridge.
- Development Studies Institute - London School of Economics.
