We are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Early Career Researchers' Conference hosted by the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. The conference will take place on Friday, 9th May 2025, in The David Attenborough Building (CB2 3QZ).
This year’s conference is themed "Navigating the Future: Cities, Governance, and Sustainable Economies", reflecting the evolving challenges and opportunities in urban development, environmental policy, and economic transitions. The conference provides a platform for early career researchers across different disciplines to share their research, engage in discussions, and build new networks across disciplines.
The conference will feature three interdisciplinary panels:

Urban and regional planning
Housing and real estate finance
Smart cities and urban resilience
📌 Governance, Law, and Public Policy
Land governance and regulation
Public policy and economic transformation
Regional and urban economics
📌 Climate, Environment, and Economic Transitions
Environmental and energy law
Climate change mitigation and adaptation
Renewable energy and sustainability
We welcome submissions from PhD students and post-doctoral researchers working within these fields. If you would like to present your research (for around 20 minutes), please submit an abstract via the following link before 31st March:
