This research, commissioned by Communities and Local Government, considered how to adjust for missing local authority data within the Continuous Recording of Lettings (LA CORE) system.

 

The output of the research is a report, based on LA CORE and housing strategy statistical appendix (HSSA) Section D data collected in 2007–08, describes the weighting strategy and the result of the weighted LA CORE data on new tenant household profiles.

 

Continuous recording of lettings (CORE): weighting and imputation methodology

This report details the findings of research commissioned by Communities and Local Government. It recommends a method of adjusting for missing local authority data within the Continuous Recording of Lettings (LA CORE) system. This method was implemented on the 2007/08 dataset and some summary figures have already been published.
