Biography:

Tuğba is a PhD candidate at the Ankara University in Turkey. As a Jean Monnet Scholar, she is currently a Visiting PhD Student under the supervision of Dr. Thies Lindenthal in Cambridge University’s Land Economy Department. Her PhD research focuses on risk assessment of mortgage-backed securities, automated valuation models and their role in secondary mortgage markets.

 

Tuğba holds her BSc and MSc degrees in Statistics. She has been working for the Land Registry and Cadastre Agency of Turkey for thirteen years, primarily for the World Bank Project on property valuation and taxation to establish a mass valuation system, and takes part in policy development processes regarding various real estate related topics in Turkey.
