Dr Sam Brandt is a Research Fellow at the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge. He is a cultural-historical geographer of modern and contemporary Latin America, namely Uruguay, Brazil, and Argentina. He maintains broad interests across geography and its cognate fields, including the history of geographic thought, geography education, urban geography, environmental history, and ethnographic and archival methods.
