Research Assistant

£26,243-£30,395

The Department of Land Economy is looking to appoint a researcher to join its team of researchers in the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research (CCHPR). We look at all aspects of housing, planning and land use and conduct research for a range of funders. Our team works collegially on multiple research projects, both long and short term, the majority of which are policy-oriented.

This post will give you the scope to develop your research interests and methodological skills, and you will have opportunities to work with other members of staff within the Department of Land Economy and the wider University, as well as with other institutions, as required by different projects.

If you are an enthusiastic researcher with experience of mixed methods research and an interest in UK housing and urban planning, or are from a related field such as Geography, Sociology, Economics or Law, we'd love to hear from you.

Informal enquiries about this post should be directed to Dr Gemma Burgess on glb36@cam.ac.uk or 01223 764547. Interviews are scheduled for Monday 21 October 2019 and the closing date for applications is 4 October 2019.

The post is full-time but we welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working.

Full details can be found on the University's Jobs pages at http://www.jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/21803/

The next Postgraduate Open Day will take place on Friday 1 November 2019.
