Lecturer in Real Estate, Economics and Finance (Fixed Term)

Department of Land Economy

The Department of Land Economy is looking to recruit a Temporary Lecturer for 3 years in the first instance, in the field of Real Estate, Economics and Finance.

This post is intended to strengthen and coordinate the work of the Department of Land Economy in the application of economic and financial models to real estate and the urban built environment. The Department has research clusters in Real Estate and Urban Analysis and in Environmental Policy and Regulation and a number of active research centres including, the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance, the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research, the Cambridge Centre for Property Law, the Cambridge Real Estate Research Centre and the Rural Business Unit.

The Lecturer in Real Estate, Economics and Finance will be expected to undertake internationally-leading research in one or more of the disciplinary areas in Land Economy applied to real estate markets, to urban and regional economic development and/or to financial markets; to identify sources of funding for such research and to build on and expand our network of contacts working in those areas; to teach on our undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in areas related to their expertise; and to make a general contribution to the running and management of the Department.
