Research Associate (Fixed Term)

The Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research are looking for a Research Associate (Grade 7) to join the team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic mixed methods researcher with an interest in housing and planning, or a related field such as Geography, Sociology or Economics. Providing support on a number of current research projects, you will have the ability to organise, conduct, transcribe and analyse qualitative interviews, as well as the skills to analyse quantitative information and interpret policy documents. You should be confident in presenting your findings to funders and other stakeholders. In order to be appointed as a Research Associate, the successful candidate will need to have a PhD in a relevant field and be able to demonstrate their ability to manage projects from proposal through to completion, including writing research proposals and reports, and securing research funding.

At any one time, you are likely to be working on more than one project and will be given support to manage your workload. CCHPR's weekly team meetings are an opportunity to discuss your work stream with colleagues. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for two years in the first instance.
