Dr Özge Öner is one of 5 keynote speakers at the 14th international conference 'Challenges of Europe', which is taking place in Croatia. The theme of this year’s conference is 'Design for the Next Generation'. The other keynote presenters include two Nobel Laurates - Eric Maskin and Alvin Roth - as well as the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs at the European Commission Luc Tholoniat.
As part of the conference, she will give a presentation entitled: “It’s the Geography, Stupid!”.
Dr Öner will also be meeting the President of Croatia on 16th May as part of her engagement.
