On Monday, 27 March 2023 in the run-up to the Berlin Energy Transition DialogueEEIST Project presented its new flagship report 'New economic models of energy innovation and transition.'

The new report explores the value of introducing new economic modelling to policy toolkits for decarbonisation and is based on real-world experiences from across the globe. By harnessing new tools, successfully demonstrated across fourteen case studies, the report highlights new ways that policymakers can accelerate the transition to a cleaner energy system.

The report is co-authored, among other EEIST colleagues, by CEENRG Fellows Dr Roberto Pasqualino, Dr Cristina PeñascoProfessor Laura Diaz Anadon, and Dr Jean-Francois Mercure.
