The Department's Helen Bao, Professor of Urban Economics and Public Policy as well as Director of the Lab for Interdisciplinary Spatial Analysis, recently gave a presentation at the launch event for Insights 2025.
Insights is a report published by Understanding Society, a UK household longitudinal study based at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Essex.
Insights 2025 aims to showcase research and policy solutions for the housing crisis, and its launch event took place on 26th February 2025.
Professor Bao - who contributed to the report as well as speaking at the launch event - gave a presentation entitled 'How is rising urban wealth changing energy consumption?'.
