Academic profile

I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Urban Planning and Design, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School and a Departmental Fellow at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. Before joining Peking University, I was an Assistant Professor of Real Estate Finance at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. I earned my PhD in Real Estate Economics with a focus on Hong Kong's residential housing market. My research deals with housing markets, housing tenure, residential location choice, and the evaluation of place-based investments. My research has been influenced by the Department's multidisciplinary environment, encompassing disciplines such as real estate, regional economics and urban planning. Currently, I am interested in testing traditional housing theories and evaluating place-based investments using big data such as mobile phone trajectory data.
