Academic profile
Rosalyn is a Teaching Associate in Climate, Environmental and Urban Policy. She completed both the BA and PhD in the Department of Land Economy, with her thesis exploring the take up and use of green technologies in low carbon communities, including a case study of the North West Cambridge development (now Eddington), in the previous Cambridge Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research (4CMR). Her research has spanned a number of topics, including the role of civic crowdfunding models in community ownership and governance of local assets; the function of data commons in the use and sharing of personal data for the public good; democratic innovations for increased civic participation; and how to understand the wider value of people-powered approaches. Outside of teaching, Rosalyn works on European research projects which build capacity related to behaviour change for sustainability and design multi-stakeholder engagement processes, in fields related to circular economy, food, and textiles. At the heart of her work sit the themes of sustainability, collaboration and innovation for social good. |
