Academic profile
Hao Zhang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Land Economy, supervised by Dr Li Wan. She specializes in sustainable travel and the integration of transport policy with emerging technologies, such as electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Hao’s PhD research explores the relationship between travel behaviour, emissions, mobility lifestyles, and sustainable transport policies. She employs methods including the analysis of travel data, scenario and segmentation analysis, and choice experiments to provide nuanced insights into the (in)effectiveness of travel demand management.
Hao holds an MPhil in Land Economy Research (Cantab) with distinction, and a MArch in Urban Design (UCL), and a BArch in Architecture (HUST). In addition to her academic pursuits, Hao is a registered architect in China, bringing over a decade of industry experience from Beijing to her research. |
