Prof Yanni Yu, a distinguished professor at the Institute of advanced and Interdisciplinary Science and the director of human sustainability at Shandong University, holds dual doctorate degrees from Inha University in South Korea. Over the past seven years, she has dedicated herself to sustainable development management research, examining both micro and macro dimensions.On the micro-level, her work has explored the driving forces behind corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Chinese enterprises, its impact, and performance assessment. She has developed theoretical and empirical models of CSR in China, advancing fields such as graphic psychology and human behavior theory. On the macro-level, her research includes assessments of sustainable development performance across various regions and industries in China.


Prof Yanni Yu's extensive research has led to the publication of over 40 papers in prestigious journals, including Nature Communications. She is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and has led four projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
