The Centre runs academic conferences and works with Governmental and Non-Governmental agencies on both the policy and technical detail of the law relating to property.

The Centre also provides an umbrella and focus for Ph.D students within the Department of Land Economy and the University whose work falls within the general area of property law.

The members of the Centre are drawn from a wide variety of disciplines, but a common feature is the application of legal principles to practical problems. The members of the Centre publish the results of their research across a range of outputs, including articles in scholarly journals, commissioned reports, shorter notes, monographs, blogs and electronic resources.
