On 17th September, Dr Andy Jobst participated as a panel speaker in the Global Forum on the Environment and Climate Change, which was organised by the OECD’s Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG) together with the IEA. In his remarks, Andy provided a central banking perspective on “Scaling up Finance for Adaptation Action: Challenges and Opportunities in the NCQG and Baku to Belém Roadmap”. In particular, he presented key insights from his recent research on how climate considerations can be integrated into financial regulation to crowd-in funding from long-term institutional investors (such as insurance companies) in climate-smart infrastructure.
