Planning:

Space is finite, and as the world’s population increases, it becomes more and more important to look at how we can best make use of the ever-decreasing space we have. And this is the central question that our research in planning is concerned with. Planning obligations, the planning system, and modular housing are just some of the areas where we conduct our research in this area.

Housing:

Housing is one of the pre-eminent domestic issues facing many different countries around the world. Our research in this area is relevant to both policy and practice, and deals with matters of planning, supply, affordability, innovation, and advancements within the housing sector, as well as the way housing is connected to wider social issues, such as homelessness and ageing populations.
