A group of Land Economy students took part in an engagement session for the Cambridge East development yesterday (21st February 2024).
The event, entitled 'The Cambridge East placemaking opportunity - capturing your ideas', featured representatives from Marshall who provided an introduction to the proposed redevelopment of the Cambridge Airport site, and encouraged the students to share their thoughts and ideas for how the site could be used for the benefit of generations to come.
The students took part in an interactive session where they could offer their views on what a new Cambridge quarter needs to be a success, what the environmental, social, and economic considerations should be.
