The Department of Land Economy's tripos was highlighted to prospective undergraduate students in a Subject Masterclass on Thursday 3rd August. The event, hosted online, consisted of two taster lectures and a live Q&A session.

Professor Elisabete Silva and Professor Douglas Crawford-Brown gave the lectures. Professor Silva's talk was about how spatial planning and spatial plans can deliver sustainability across communities by mediating the needs of society and the environment. Professor Crawford-Brown's talk was about the human health co-benefits of global climate policy.

Of the event, Professor Crawford-Brown said,

"The Masterclass is an excellent way to not only inform and attract students to Land Economy, but to also clarify our own thinking about the strengths of Land Economy. Students seem to enter the class with little background in interdisciplinary study, and leave with an understanding of how Land Economy will fill in that background."
