Land Economy is situated on Silver Street in Cambridge City Centre. All visitors to the Department should report first to the reception at 19 Silver Street. The telephone number for the Reception is 01223 337147.

Cycle parking for Land Economy is behind the Land Economy building on Silverstreet, accessed a Brick archway. There are cycle racks available, please remember to bring your own lock and be aware of cycle security.
Arriving by Road:
From the South & from London, Cambridge is a short trip up the M11 motorway. From the north, the A1 and M1 link to the A14 dual carriageway straight to the city, and from the east and west, the A14 again takes you to Cambridge.
Parking facilities are very restricted and are not normally available for visitors to Land Economy.
For short stay trips the City Centre Car Parks offer great convenience, but for longer visits there are five world class Park & Ride sites located on the outskirts of the City that provide free parking and a swift and frequent bus ride to the City Centre.
Arriving by Train:
There is a fast and frequent rail service from London King’s Cross & London Liverpool Street through to Cambridge. There are excellent connections from Scotland & the North via Peterborough, and regional services from Birmingham & the Midlands, East Anglia & the Northwest.

There is a Taxi rank in front of the station, and a bus service that runs frequently from the station into the city centre, look for the Citi 1, Citi 3, or Citi 7. Walking from the station to Land Economy takes 15-20 minutes. Follow Station Road from the railway station to the War Memorial on Hills Road (the first T junction). Turn right and follow Hills Road to the Catholic Church (a large stone building on the left) at the corner of Hills Road and Lensfield Road. Turn left and follow Lensfield Road to the end. Turn right into Trumpington Street, continue along this road, past the Fitzwilliam Museum on your left, continue past Little St Mary's Church, shortly after the Emmanuel United Reformed Church turn left onto Silver Street. Land Economy Reception is at number 19 Silver Street.
Arriving by Air:
Cambridge is within easy reach of London Heathrow, London Gatwick & Birmingham International Airport. London Stansted is the nearest international airport to Cambridge, located just 30 miles to the South of the city, with easy access by train, coach, or car (M11).
Arriving by Coach or Bus:
National Express operates coach services to Cambridge from major towns & cities throughout the U.K. There are frequent coach services from both Central London, and London Stansted Airport through to the city. The X5 cross county Stagecoach service links Oxford to Cambridge, via Bicester, Buckingham, Milton Keynes & Bedford.
The main bus station is located in Drummer Street. All national bus services currently stop at the main bus station. Stagecoach operates a comprehensive Bus service to the city from around the county. Please visit www.stagecoachbus.com for full details.
The Guided Busway offers an innovative and frequent service from Huntingdon to the city centre including stops at the Rail Station and Addenbrookes Hospital. Park and Ride sites for this service can be found at St Ives, Longstanton and Trumpington. Please visit www.thebusway.info for full details.
Walking to Estate Management from the bus station takes 10-15 minutes. Leave the bus station via Emmanuel Street exit, at the end of Emmanuel Street you will come to St Andrew's Street. Turn left and cross over the road into Downing Street continuing into Pembroke Street to the end. This will bring you to Trumpington Street, turn right and follow the road around the ninety degree bend onto Silver Street where you will find Land Economy.
Located just 67 miles South-East of Cambridge, it is possible to sail into Harwich from the Hook of Holland. Excellent road, & rail links makes Cambridge easily accessible.
