The Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research is a University of Cambridge research centre conducting innovative, policy-relevant research. Led by Dr Gemma Burgess, CCHPR has an international reputation as a leading academic research institution in all aspects of housing, planning and land use.

The Cambridge Centre for Economic and Public Policy is an independently funded research centre within the Department of Land Economy. It is focused on interpreting and understanding economic phenomena and public policy. Public policy is the guiding force in the analysis and the emphasis is on a wide range of predominantly, but not exclusively, macroeconomic issues.

The Cambridge Real Estate Research Centre was established in 2013 to respond to the expanding national and international research agenda in real estate and to bridge the gap between academic theory and commercial practice in the sector. The Centre is one of the dedicated research centres at Cambridge University and contributes to the world class status of research at the University. We are a non‐profit making organisation with any surpluses used to support further research and education in the Centre and the Department.

LISA is a Geographic Information Lab that allows congregating data, software and expertise for spatial analysis in Land Economy's related subjects (Planning, Real Estate an Finance, Environmental Policy, Environmental and Climate Change). C-EENRG’s core mission is to conduct integrative research on the governance of environmental transitions, understood as social and technological processes driven by environmental constraints that lead to fundamental changes in social organisation. Our work draws upon the knowledge of the drivers and implications of environmental change generated in various centres across the University of Cambridge and focuses on the law and governance dimensions of environmental transitions. Law is viewed as a technology to bring, guide and/or manage environment-driven societal transformation.

The Centre exists to further research and scholarship in the general field of the law of real property – land law, landlord and tenant law, aspects of trusts law and related matters connected with real property such as planning and environmental regulation.
