Academic profile

Zihao An is a Research Associate on the DARe project. His research interests centre on mobility studies, the societal implications of transport policies, issues of transport-related social exclusion, and planning for the quality of life. Zihao's recent research focus aims to examine the co-benefits/disbenefits – such as those concerning social welfare and public health – that result from decarbonisation efforts through interventions in land use and transport, as well as urban innovations. Before joining the Department of Land Economy, he held a position as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds, where he was awarded his PhD degree.
