Academic profile

 

Katharina is a PhD candidate at the Department of Land Economy supervised by Professor Franz Fuerst. Her research focuses on examining the link between healthy indoor & outdoor environments and the profitability of real estate investments. Her research interests include real estate finance, public health, and sustainability.

 

Before joining the PhD programme, Katharina has graduated from the MPhil in Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School and worked in real estate fund management. She completed the BSc in Business Administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin with studies abroad at Harvard University, MIT, and LSE.

 

Recently, the American Real Estate Society has awarded Katharina Minkow and Franz Fuerst with the best manuscript prize sponsored by the CoStar Group for their conference paper with the title “Linking Health and Well-being to Financial Performance in Commercial Real Estate”.
